Q: How did you come into the music industry?
A: In 2013 after always wanting to be a singer. I eventually was afforded my chance by performing on a southern soul blues show with an artist by the name of David Brinston. Mr. Brinston produced my very first single by the name of Dancing Shoes. He also introduced me to the legendary radio personality for magic 106.1 by the name of Poppa Rock.
Q: Who was your inspiration for music?
A: Music has always been in my blood since I can remember. But at the age of four, I witnessed a childhood acquaintance singing “His eye is on the sparrow” with a mass choir which increased my want to become a singer.
Q: What is the name of your Debut Song?
A: My Debut song was Dancing Shoes however Jelly Roll was the first song to hit major airways in the South. Which established me as an official blues artist.
Q: Say something about your musical journey?
A: My musical journey has been very tough but rewarding at the same time. It has been a very influential and knowledgeable journey, one I believe will pay off in God’s timing.
Q: Who gave you pieces of advice?
A: I have been fortunate enough to receive advice from several very influential people in the industry.
Q: What do you do nowadays?
A: I am writing mostly blogging and working on other adventures as well.
Q: Let us know something about your future projects?
A: My future projects are a lot of different vocally and story wise from my previous albums. They are a lot cleaner and the people will get to hear the confident side of Raven. Before I have been very timid and afraid to open up however in the up and coming project’s I am truly open. Sit back and grip your seats I must say.
Q: What is your message to your fans?
A: To my fans I say I Love You so much and thank you for continuing to rock wit me. I am more than blessed by the continued support from my knights.
Q: Any message to the new artists?
A: The only advice I have is never giving up and keep on pushing the hard work will pay off in the end.
