Kristen Karma is a rising singer-songwriter, who has just released her brand new single ‘Dear John’.

Her music ,which is mostly dance/pop, is already well recognized in her hometown of Vancouver. Moreover, with her blossoming career she is no stranger to the music industry.Karma not only wields a certificate in Audio Engineering from Hot Sole Music, but has studied voice with Judith Rabinovitch, who has worked with the likes of Avril Lavigne and Sarah McLachlan.

She opened for Grammy Award Winner Akon in Guelph, Ontario on his Canadian Promo Tour in 2017. She was selected to play the Lady Gaga- Joanne World Tour VIP After-party once again in Vancouver after Lady Gaga’s performance at Rogers Arena.

Her new single “Dear John” to which one can feel close to if he has lost a loved one. It’s simplicity and beauty makes it quite different from her other songs. The lyrics are warm and smooth like freshly baked croissants and her voice is the powdered sugar that makes it equally enjoyable. Kristen has dedicated this song to her father.

The message behind the song is soul piercing as it connects with every individual who listens to it. It is a collaboration with artist Marian Hanna and rap artist Mr. ATP, who are without doubt extremely prodigious. It has an obsessive beat to which the listener claps his hands and the vocals are soothing to the ears.

She had also released another single before “Dear John” which is “Party Heroes” having electronic dance sound. In April 2019, the song reached the iTunes Canada Pop chart Top 20, peaking at #17.

Karma’s exciting and energetic live  performances leave the audience with goosebumps and she does all this with a neon pink microphone in hand.
