Q: First of all we want to say welcome to you.
A: Thanks for having me.
Q: How did you come into music industry?
A: I would say that a career in music picked me. All I ever wished for in my lifetime was to write and perform music. All of these years it has been all I could ever imagine myself doing.
Q: Who was your inspiration for music?
A: I was truly inspired by so many of the artists from the 80s…the Cars, Howard Jones, Gary Neuman to name a few.
Q: What is the name of your debut song?
A: The title of this particular song is “When we were young” it is about growing up in a small town during the 1980s (Releasing on Sept 20th 2021).
Q: Say something about your musical journey?
A: It certainly has been a journey with a lot of twists and turns. I have been involved at least part-time in professional music since 1987. I have made a lot of great friends, had some great opportunities, and also some hard times. All in all, I wouldn’t trade the life of a musician for anything else.
Q: Who helped you most in your journey?
A: So many people have helped me along the way in my musical journey. My most current mentor is an incredible guitar teacher named George Turner. He is really helping me get my guitar chops up where I want them to be.
Q: Who gave you pieces of advice?
A: I’ve gotten a ton of really valuable advice over the years..Some of the teachers & mentors who really stand out in my mind for giving great advice are Brent Edstrom, Joe Brasch, Gary Edigoffer, Neil Dierks, and Dallas Talley.
Q: What do you do nowadays?
A: Nowadays I’m really focused on getting my music out there. I’m a complete newbie to modern music Promotion…and although it is fascinating, it is still quite a mystery to me.
Q: Let us know something about your future projects.
A: I plan to release a song per month over the next year or two…I have a huge backlog of songs I’ve written and never released.
Q: What is your message to your fans?
A: The main thing I want to say to my fans is: thank you so much for your support and I intend on giving 100% of my energy to do everything I can to make music you enjoy and appreciate.
Q: Any message for new artists?
A: my advice for new artists is: never give up on your dreams. Life can get really challenging but you, as an artist, truly make the world a better place so never forget that.
