Q: First of all we want to say welcome to you.
Ans: Thank You for having me.
Q: How did you come into music industry? Who was your inspiration for music?
Ans: I first got introduced to the music industry as a young girl. My parents loved music very much, my dad always played his instruments and remixed songs and sang them to me. At just the age of six years old when I had to sing for my kindergarten graduation “hero” by Mariah Carey was when I knew I fell in love with music because I wasn’t shy, I rehearsed the lyrics and went in fearless. Soon after that I studied all Mariah Carey songs in the 90’s as if they were mine.
Q: What is the name of your debut song?
Ans: My debut song is called “rewind” it’s a dance hall song, something to keep you moving on the dance floor like “feel good” music after years of making pop & hip hop and ran&by music I decided to tap into my Caribbean side and through a little spice in there to mix it up.
Q: Say something about your musical journey?
Ans: My musical journey is not the easiest music journey especially as an independence artist, but I enjoy being an independent artist. there are so many obstacles that I had to deal with to become a better musician but I am ambitious and determined to be the artist I’m destined to be. Growing up and chasing my dreams I didn’t have what I needed financially to reach the level I had potential for but I never gave up on myself. each and everyday I’m reminded by my fans that I shouldn’t give up, with a skill and a passion to sing and write I notice that with simple sounds you can enlighten and uplift someone with your tunes and change someone’s perspective of life and that’s important for me because I want my sounds to capture someone. I want it to be the vibe.
Q: Who helped you most in your journey?
Ans: I helped myself in my journey, I knew I had a talent that couldn’t go to waste. I believed in myself. What inspired that is the doubt that everyone else had.
Q: Who gave you pieces of advice?
Ans: Being in the industry for a a little time, taking a break from music I had a chance to enter the modeling realm of entertainment which was dope, easier environment to meet new people and converse at cool events. I got a lot of advice from other fashion models and socialites like Mariah Carey, fashion designer Kristine Silvestri, Beverly Johnson, Kelly Rowland, Jimmy Kimmel, & Vince Vaughn.
Q: What do you do now a days?
Ans: Now and days I’m working on all new music creating a new ep and visuals for my upcoming singles which are going to be amazing! I haven’t created new music in two years so this is the start of something dope!.
Q: Let us know something about your future projects.
Ans: My upcoming project is called WILDFLOWER it will be released in 2019, it’s a six song EP I’ve already been working on and still am, I’m constantly creating new content!
