Q: How did you come into music industry?
A: I use to watch people making music on YouTube. I just wanted to try it out and see what happens. So an attempt to make music turned into a hobby and that’s how it all started
Q: Who was your inspiration for music?
A: I have had an interest in music for a long time. Most of my friends were into music. Seeing them make something from nothing inspired me and tried it out and since then I have been attached to the industry. Other than that Bohemia and Emyway are 2 of my top listen to.
Q: What is the name of your debut song?
A: It was Kala paisa. But I stopped music for 2 years shortly after that. I would like to say Mere Mahi was the first but in all reality, it was Kala Paisa
Q: Say something about your musical journey?
A: So far it has been fun exciting and hard at the same time. Meeting the right people is a big challenge. Too many people just want money and not present to you the money’s worth
Q: Who helped you most in your journey?
A: My brother Muneeb and always been there to support me with music other than him a very close friend of mine Fahad really pushed me to get my music out. I think he believes in me more than I believe in my self
Q: Who gave you pieces of advice?
A: Advice is an ongoing process. I can’t mention just one name because I take advice from anyone and value criticism even more. But from the top of my head Hassan, Mani, Priyanka, Johnny, Romoo Hans and Arbaz have guided me correctly. And ofcourse my family is always there for me to go to for advice.
Q: What do you do nowadays?
A: I am focused on my full-time job (transportation) my kids and music.
Q: Let us know something about your future projects
A: I have 7 ongoing projects at the current moment. Few of them have video shoots planned. So new releases will be a continuous thing.
Q: What is your message to your fans?
A: I would like to say thanks to everyone. It is because of you I continue to make music. Your love and comments (good or bad) actually make me want to keep bridging out new stuff in the industry. Thank you all.
Q: Any message for new artists
A: All new artists need to really understand that this journey is fun but not as easy as it seems. It requires continuous dedication and also strong financials to start. Don’t get disheartened keep pushing and release new music frequently. And mainly meeting the right people is very important.
