(Last Updated On: October 19, 2019)

Today we are back again with the another exclusive interview with very talented artist IceTre. So, without wasting the time let’s get started.

Q: First of all we want to say welcome to you.
Thank you thank you. Welcome to you as well.

Q: How did you come into music industry?
When I was in my teens I used social media as a way to promote my music. I used platforms like MySpace, Jamglue, Facebook, etc. Soulja Boy had a big influence while i was coming into the music industry.
Q: Who was your inspiration for music?
A: My inspiration for music came from artists like The Notorious B.I.G, Lloyd Banks, Lil Wayne, and more. They all were present as inspiration for my music career.

Q: What is the name of your debut song?
Hahaha it was a freestyle about someone I was seeing at the time. I can’t exactly remember what the name of the song is called.

Q: Say something about your musical journey?
My musical journey has been tough but smooth at the same time. There’s been quite a few ups and downs and at times I thought the downs would never let up. Surrounding yourself with a good support group, big or small, is how you get away from whatever it is that keeps taking you back into the past. Just keep focusing on moving forward. That’s how I had to do it in order for my journey to be successful.

Q: Who helped you most in your journey?
My mom. She has been there for every step of the way. No matter what it was we both made a plan for me to get it because she knew I had potential to be great and to be a “somebody” even though she felt that I had achieved that already when I was younger. She never gave up on me.

Q: Who gave you pieces of advice?
I would say that my family, my friends, and God gave me my most important pieces of advices. There are some things that you just won’t be able to figure out by yourself. Never be afraid to take a helping hand when it’s being offered. We all need help in one way or another. Good advice from the people around me helps keep my feet on the ground.

Q: What do you do now a days?
I am an artist and songwriter under Blazington Music Group, EMPIRE Distribution, and Universal Music Publishing Group.

Q: Let us know something about your future projects.
My future projects will include a lot more collaborations, including behind the scenes footage of the making behind some of my newest creations.
Q: What is your message to your fans?
My message is if it wasn’t for ya’ll I wouldn’t be here. I’ve always had an appreciation for my real and true supporters; the ones who are streaming my music, the ones who are sharing my posts, the ones who are spreading the word about who I am. Those are the real ones and I can’t thank them enough. There is going to be a lot in store for the fans.

Q: Any message for new artist?
My message to new artists is find your own lane in the music industry and stay in it. Ride it all the way and don’t swerve into lanes next to you. If you are original then your work will not go unrecognizable.
