Q First of all we want to say welcome to you.
A: Thank you for having me! It’s been a while since I’ve had a chance to finally sit down and
talk about my music again.
Q: How do you come into the music industry?
A: I’ve always had a soft spot for making music and writing songs. I do believe as a songwriter
and artist, it’s all about learning the ropes and connecting with people from all around the
world by building a platform and social status for yourself to really get your music heard and
Q: Who was your inspiration for the music?
A: I grew up listening to so many artists and through them I would say that was how I found out
what my sound was. Darius Rucker and One Republic were who I looked up to when I was a
kid. You know, seeing them perform on stage really made me think ‘wow, this really is
something I want to do. ‘ A lot of my family is musical and I would say I definitely looked up
to my parents growing up by seeing the instruments they could play.
Q: What is the name of your debut song?
A: My debut single is ‘Problems (the acoustic)’. This is a song I’m actually still so proud of to
this day. I was in a really rough place at the time, and I remember writing this song and the
words and melody flowing out so easy. It just felt so right to make an acoustic track from it
and I’m so proud of how far it’s come.
Q: Say something about your musical journey?
A: For me, I feel like I’ve grown so much already within my musical journey. From writing songs
in my bedroom to now being able to share them with the rest of the world is an incredible
feeling. I do believe now I’ve gotten so much better at figuring out how to go about different
scenarios and understanding that everything is a learning experience.
Q: Who helped you most in your journey?
A: I would say the everyday people I surround myself with have helped me most. They are all
so supportive and they are always there when I need advice about anything. All my friends
have my back, and that means so much, especially when you look at how competitive the
music industry is nowadays.
Q: Who gave you pieces of advice?
A: A lot of musicians I have collaborated with have been so nice and they have helped me
really succeed on my social media pages. I think that’s so important, that we all support each
other along the way. We should never see each other as competition and I do believe that is
really important – making sure to surround yourself with the right people.
Q: What do you do nowadays?
A: At the moment, I’m working on a bunch of new music. I recently just moved into a new home
with my boyfriend. I’m actually in the process of setting up a home studio here which is pretty
cool. I have been spending a lot of time outdoors and I’ve suddenly had a keen interest in
badminton so you never know I could be the next badminton champion one day.
Q: Let us know something about your future projects?
A: I do have something big planned on the way, but all shall be revealed nearer the time. All I
can say is, I’m very happy at the moment and that may show through my next project.
There’s been a lot of writing going on recently.
Q: What is your message to your fans?
A: I just want to say a massive thank you for the support that you’ve all shown these past few
weeks. I’ve been gone for a little while, but I’m back and I’m so ready for what’s to come and
I hope you are too. I read every comment and DM that you guys send me and it honestly
does mean so much to me reading all the nice things that you all say.
Q: Any message for new artist?
A: Keep working hard, and keep going. You’re not going to learn everything in one day and that’s
okay. You can follow her on below mentioned social media platforms.
