Q: First of all we want to say welcome to you.
Thank for the opportunity.

Q: How did you come into the music industry?
I started playing the guitar at the age of 11.  I guess I got my first taste of the music business when my first guitar teacher told me to give it up after only one lesson. Thankfully, I ignored his advice and pursued my dream of becoming a guitarist/musician.

Q: Who was your inspiration for music?
My first artist inspiration was the band Triumph, and my guitar inspiration was Randy Rhoads.

Q: What was the name of your debut song?
I have two singles out.  The first one was released earlier this year, titled Redemption’s Cry, and my new single that is out now is called Passions Collide.

Q: Tell us about your musical journey?
I attended Berklee College of Music in my late teens.  I taught summer guitar workshops at renowned Duquesne School of Music. My experience ranges from the Pittsburgh rock scene to national tours. I have worked as a Pittsburgh session guitarist, Worship leader, and guitarist at several mega-churches. Currently, I am playing shows to support the album Passions Collide.

Q: Who helped you most in your journey?
I have to say my wife, Jennifer Novotny, has been my biggest support in my most recent endeavors.   But I do have to say my parents were always supportive of my musical career.

Q: Who gave you pieces of advice?
I strongly recommend the book The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks.  This book has helped me believe in myself and to overcome the limits I put on my own success.

Q: What are your most recent successes?
Early this summer I got to open for one of my guitar heroes, Paul Gilbert.  I will also be opening up for guitar great Ron Bumblefoot Thal this October. Next year, I will be opening for Uli Jon Roth, which is another guitar hero of mine. And a big highlight was being #3 on Canada’s Hard Rock iTunes chart.  I am also a recently endorsed artist for Intex Cables.

Q: Let us know something about your future projects
I am excited to be making my next music video in October for the song “Ancient Romance”. We are actually filming it in a real castle, and it should be a lot of fun to make.  I will be back in the studio early next year to start my second album.  I am hoping to have some guest musicians to play on it.

Q: What is your message to your fans?
I am so thankful for all your continued support, and I am excited to bring a new music video to life, and soon to come is some new music.

Q: Any message for new artists?
Do your best not to look around you, keep your head down, and keep moving forward.  You will have great days, and days where you want to quit. Sometimes those feelings will be in the same day, but just keep going.
