Toady we are sharing exclusive interview of in which You will get to know a lot of things about ‘Andrew Hetherington’. So, let’s started.
Q: First of all we want to say welcome to you.
A: Thank You
Q: How did you come into music industry?
A: I started producing my own music in late 2017 and just putting it on SoundCloud and YouTube. I put out several songs and videos that had no following. It wasn’t until early 2019 that I really started to focus on promoting my music to gain an audience.
Q: Who was your inspiration for music?
A: I’m inspired by songs and artists from the 80s, those synthpop bands really had a good sound and I think you can hear that influence coming through in my music.
Q: What is the name of your debut song?
A: The first song I ever wrote and released is called Spirits Fly, it’s an adult contemporary song with a female vocalist. The song is about the high moments in life when you feel great and your spirit soars, it’s still available on all online stores.
Q: Say something about your musical journey?
A: My journey thus far has been a steep learning curve and an exercise in humility and perseverence. The music business is a very tough gig, so I just try to learn as much about it as I can while being focused on my goals and not allowing myself to be discouraged.
Q: Who helped you most in your journey?
A: I can’t say that anyone has helped me as I’m really a one man operation. I do all of my own music, videos, artwork, websites, PR and promotion.
Q: Who gave you pieces of advice?
A: I’ve picked up tidbits of advice from across the internet, YouTube, Twitter, websites etc. It’s been helpful at times, but I’m still learning and I’m sure there is a lot more helpful advice that I haven’t come across yet.
Q: What do you do now a days?
A: These days I spend a lot of time promoting my music, it’s almost a full time job. Submitting music to playlists, radio stations and blogs takes a lot of research and time. Getting my music played and in front of an audience is the most important thing at the moment.
Q: Let us know something about your future projects.
A: I have a new album of downtempo instrumentals called Ones And Zeros being released in January 2020, which I am very excited about. I’ve put a lot of effort into the album and come up with ten songs that I am very proud of. The first single from the album is called Intemporal and there’s a couple of other potential singles on the album to follow up with. The album will be available at all online stores.
Q: What is your message to your fans?
A: Thank you so, so much, it really is an honor to be on your playlist.
Q: Any message for new artist?
A: Be patient, don’t be discouraged, don’t give up, believe in yourself and keep going.
