Q: First of all we want to say welcome to you.
Q: How did you come into music industry?
Ans: I started music when I was very young, around 12 I started songwriting, lots of lessons and discipline. I got recognition by the industry about 4 years ago professionally, as in people in the higher up businesses started to know my name and music.
Q: Who was your inspiration for music?
Ans: As a person I would say, many, like Cobain, Bowie, Madonna, Micheal etc just icons and more popular artists of my day, also my friends where one, they where always very good at performing in either one thing or another so I tried to do as much as I could with them, so some friends where into Band Garage past times, others did Comhaltas, I’ve met other people like acquaintances through classical singing lessons, it doesn’t matter your taste or genre, just your similar passion for creating or performing.
Q: What is the name of your debut song?
Ans: Signs… Or my O.G. debut Valentine, I don’t remember. This album it’s Let You Go.
Q: Say something about your musical journey?
Q: Who helped you most in your journey? Who gave you pieces of advice?
Ans: People in New York great managers and others in the industry to be brutally honest, now a days signing with labels, deals, and publishing that’s what I need people to be honest with me about, I feel very respected and taken seriously when I can have those type of conversations. I don’t just sit about and waste my time making empty promises to friends, which I’ve seen happen alot with other people just wanting to leech off other peoples success, like ‘hey you be there for me, cause you know we go way back’ I’m not about that, I am my own entity. I do my own work and only want to further my career and the authentic careers of other people who want to help me.
Q: What do you do now a days?
Ans: well, I never stop touring, I’m playing a very special gig this summer, you’ll have to wait and see! Also I do some acting as well, I’m always travelling for that, I get to see so many amazing places, though I never get to go out at all, as I’m on a strict work schedule, I try to explore.
Q: Let us know something about your future projects
Ans: a very special gig this summer and new album
Q: What is your message to your fans?
Ans: Love you and you’re all very funny too.
Q: Any message for new artist?
Ans: Work and stop wasting your time. Stop pretending there’s a special way of making music, thinking you have to go out and get wasted at partys. just do it.
