Q: First of all we want to say welcome to you.
Ans: Thank you guys for the space! Glad to speak to you a little bit about me!
Q: How did you come into music industry?
Ans: I came in the music industry after few a years of recording in music studios. I had about 10 songs recorded, I performed in local shows in my city. Promoters and djs from the city started to call and invite me to events. I was in a reggaeton duo for about 4 years, it wasn’t until 2015 when Fonzo AM was born.
Q: Who was your inspiration for music?
Ans: I have many artists that inspired me, Daddy Yankee, Arcangel, Wisin y Yandel are some to make a a few. They opened a lot of doors for the Latin urban movement and until this day they inspire me.
Q: What is the name of your debut song?
Ans: The name of my debut song is “Juntos”, a single that opened a lot of opportunities for me and found my style with.
Q: Say something about your musical journey?
Ans: My musical journey had taught me over the years. As I mentioned I started off recording singles and performing in local clubs and festivals. Over the years I have learned that is more than just performing and recording music if I want to take my brand worldwide. I started to travel outside the city looking for more opportunities, taking advantage of the internet and marketing my self.
Q: Who helped you most in your journey?
Ans: One of the person that has helped me the most in my journey is Guillermo Alvarez, producer and CEO of Electret Records believed in me. He has become a brother and a mentor in my career always there improving every aspect of my music career.
Q: Who gave you pieces of advice?
Ans: Guillermo has given me a lot of advice on how to market my self, and how important it is to be constant.
Q: What do you do now a days?
Ans: I am writing and recording music as always, and currently touring and promoting my latest single in Mexico.
Q: Let us know something about your future projects.
Ans: I am working a lot of new music videos and have a lot of new music and collaborations. I will be visiting Colombia and Argentina to continue expanding the movement.
Q: What is your message to your fans?
Ans: I want to tell my fans to stay tuned for a lot of surprises I have for them. I have 4 new singles that will be released soon and can’t wait for them to hear. I will be giving my best and want to thank them for being always showing me love on social media. We are a family and they are the ones who motivate me to keep going hard! Love them!
Q: Any message for new artist?
Ans: A message I will tell an artist will be to keep doing what they love, and if they want to take their music around the world, they need to stay focused and look at it as a real job, even though it doesn’t feel like one because you love what you do. There will be ups and downs but you always learn and get better. Believe in yourself so other people can believe in you.
