Q: First of all, we want to say welcome to you.
A: Thank You
Q: How did you come into the music industry?
A: The usual route. We were both in various bands. This finally ended up with us being signed to an indie label. Things progressed from there. Since then, we’ve had various recording/publishing deals.
Q: Who was your inspiration for music?
A: The Beatles, Elvis Costello, David Bowie, Abba and The Smiths.
Q: What was the name of your debut song?
A: Our first single released by a record company was called, ‘The Only Girl’.
Q: Tell us about your musical journey?
A: When we were first signed, there were just three of us and we weren’t a band as such. The label then put a band around us. We toured extensively but are much happier now being a studio act entirely.
Q: Who helped you most in your journey?
A: Our mums and dads helped us out a lot considering that we were always broke, which is a common trait amongst many musicians.
Q: Who gave you pieces of advice?
A: The well-known writer and broadcaster, Charlie Gillett, took a great interest in us before we were signed. He put us in touch with the producer we still work with today, Pat Collier.
Q: What are your most recent successes?
A: A number one on iTunes’ national chart in Belgium, called, ‘Girl in a Gilded Cage’. This track also won The Best Alternative Rock Track of 2019.
Q: Let us know something about your future projects
A: We’re currently working with Woody Woodmansey, David Bowie’s drummer from the Spiders from Mars. We’ve also worked with Elvis Costello’s drummer, Pete Thomas. The tracks we’ve recorded with them will be on a new album to be released next year.
Q: What is your message to your fans?
A: Thanks for supporting our music. It’s a great feeling to know that there are people out there buying into what we do.
Q: Any message for new artists?
A: Believe in yourself because if you don’t, nobody else will.
