Ans: Thank you and it’s a pleasure to be here and to be interviewed by you.

Ans: My real name is Sweta Bhatt that means wonder woman in Sanskrit. Whereas my artist name is Sugarzzz meaning sweetness overloaded, named by my work team and my dearest brother. I am a songwriter, singer and a performer. I practice pop more than any other genre of music. All my life I have been in living in the Middle East. I love Dubai because not only I reside here but also it’s where I got a refined direction for my career. I am a pharmacy graduate who was passionate about music since childhood. I started my career as a songwriter when I was in college and I used to do it as a hobby and to earn some extra money. This eventually turned into my alternate profession. I belong to a family where everyone is only and only into medical and medicines, I’m like the black sheep of my family. Loving it!

Q4: Who was your inspiration for music?
Ans: The legend Bob Marley, who gave his everything to music is someone who I really look up to and the main timber about him that influences me is his will power.
Q5: What was the name of your debut song?
Ans: Bhuladiya was my first debut song released under crescendo music record.
Q6: You write own lyrics? Tell us something about it?
Ans: Yes, I write my own lyrics and I started my journey as a songwriter. I believe I am born with a poetic heart and a warrior head… generally I get a lot of compliments for my writing. I started writing when I was 15 yrs of age. I used to write when I was happy, sad, angry, scared. I use to pen it down and then destroy it secretly as the moment passed. Didn’t want anyone to know how I feel. The minute I stopped destroying it and cherishing my emotions, the lyricist in me was born.
Q7: Say something about your musical journey?
Ans: My musical journey has been as interesting as the musical chords. I do not believe in taking right decisions, I take decisions and make it right. I had to struggle to begin with and that started from home. I had to make my parents believe in me first. Then the rest wasn’t easy but I worked my way through it. Now when I look back, I say it was nothing… because struggle has no lifespan. It simply continues to challenge you to do better and I strive for that every day with my music.
“Bhuladiya” gave me a good start followed by “Civilized Animal”. Kyu Hua (Reloaded) with Zee Music Company in collaboration with Arijit Singh, was taking a big step after many baby steps in my career. My work started getting recognition. Now, by God’s grace, I have a lot of fans and followers including those who once thought that I don’t belong here.
